Introducing Tech Tip Tuesday

A new weekly series for the rest of us. Every Tuesday: one genuinely useful tech tip, no jargon, no deep dives — just something you can use before your coffee gets cold.

Every week, technology asks you to do something new, and every week, you probably just… don’t. Not because you’re incapable — because nobody bothered to explain it in under two minutes.

That’s the gap Tech Tip Tuesday is here to fill. Here’s the deal: every Tuesday, you’ll get one tech tip. Not a 3,000-word deep dive. Not a “10 Hidden Settings You NEED to Know About” listicle that’s secretly seven ads and three affiliate links. Just one genuinely useful thing, explained clearly, that you can actually use before your coffee gets cold.

Some weeks it’ll be a setting buried three menus deep that fixes something that’s been quietly annoying you for months. Some weeks it’ll be a shortcut that saves you thirty seconds a day, which doesn’t sound like much until you do the math on how many times you’ve done that thing. Some weeks it might just be “hey, did you know your phone can do this.”

No jargon dumps. No “well actually” energy. No assuming you already know what a QR code is before we tell you what to do with one. If a tip needs backstory, we’ll give it to you — but only the backstory that actually matters.

Why bother?

Because most tech content is written for people who already love tech, and the rest of us are left digging through forum posts from 2014 trying to figure out why our printer hates us. Tech Tip Tuesday is for the rest of us. If you’ve ever nodded along in a conversation about your phone settings while having no idea what anyone just said, welcome home.

First one drops this Tuesday. Bring your coffee. It’ll still be hot when you’re done. If you have an idea for a tech tip or something about technology that just drives you up a wall, let us know — it might become a future Tech Tip Tuesday post.
